When we discuss about the importance of innovation, we should by all means consider whether such innovation overshoot the customer's needs, and eventually lead to commercial failure.

Innovation Centres are often a critical path to success with respect to driving innovation. However, one must not forget that often it's not just physical presence or collaboration that act as the catalyst for success around innovation, but a more fundamental aspect of convergence,
Convergence relates to bringing the various enterprise or organization assets - resources, people, partners, business needs etc - together to create something of value that is both innovative and applicable. There are many ways to do this, but doing it right creates real magic.
